3 Ways To Simplify Recycling Processes With Rented Dumpsters

For the most part, business owners rent dumpsters to house the general waste that results from everyday processes at their company. However, renting a dumpster is not something that should be done only when you need a place to house general waste. Renting large receptacles is actually a good way to simplify recycling processes and reduce the large amount of waste that can come from your place of business. Take a look at some of the ways you can simplify your business recycling processes by renting additional dumpsters beyond your usual trash receptacle.

Rent a dumpster to house recyclable materials until you get a large load.

One of the reasons some business owners do not recycle is they have nowhere to logically keep their recyclables until there is enough to be picked up or taken to the recycling center. You can always rent a dumpster to house this material until you get a larger load to take off. For example, you may not have a lot of recyclable scrap metal, so the odd and end pieces may go into the regular dumpster because you have nowhere to contain the items. With a secondary rented dumpster on site, you can hold onto the recyclable scrap pieces until you have a large load.

Rent a dumpster to make recycling more convenient for your employees.

Dumpsters usually go outside of a business building, but if you have a rather large facility, the dumpsters or waste receptacles can be situated indoors. If there is a certain material that gets tossed out a lot that could be recyclable, such as paper products or plastic wrapping, having a dumpster in work areas will make it more convenient for employees to simply toss the recyclables into the receptacle. Some larger companies, such as warehouse facilities, actually keep multiple dumpsters in the building for things like cardboard, plastic waste, or even aluminum cans.

Rent a dumpster for streamlined recycling pickup.

Some recycling companies now offer streamlined recycling services, which basically means you can put all of your recyclable materials in one container for pickup. For example, you can put all of your aluminum, all of your glass, and all of your paper into one container and the recycling company will sort the items once they are picked up. You can use dumpster rentals to house all of the collaborated recyclables so the recycling company does not have to pick them up as often.
